The hero is back!

strong percussion, just turn it up a lil. Solid guitar riffs and melodies. The back ground conflict made the song very unique. the climax wasn't bad, maybe add a crash at the top. lol, nice everything explodes in the end, cool fx. Nice work bro, definitely brings images of heroic struggles to my head :D. Will that hero ever die? i hope not. Keep me updated on your music bro. L8r

Hey, thanks man. I wish I could. To keep the EQ from peaking, unfortunately everything had to be kinda low in the mix =/. Added the whole war storyline was an interesting choice I made while re-writing this song, but I like how it ties everything together. (Destiny was an album 1 song that never made it to NG 'cause I didn't have faith in it. Adding the gun fight & explosion added an album 3 vibe to it that I really liked, seeing as everything has evolved now). Will that hero ever die? It's a good question. I guess we'll just have to wait and see =]

i really like the vibe man, it is more of trance not techno. all of the sounds blended really well, good chioces. soft, moving, clear, uplifting, i like it quite a bit man, tight groove.

Thanks. :) I was going to pick ambient, but I figured purists would throw a fit at me so I just slated it as techno. It's hard to keep anyone happy when you can only pick one.

crank up the kick volume and clap, they get lost in the synth. i like that you changed up the melody in the middle that was a great change. maybe add some layering of other instruments. you could replace your top saw with another instrument from time to time. Saws are best used for climax because of thier crazy power, so try to use less of them to make the moments when you do use them more meaningful and not as common. this song is shaping us well man. personal message me about the progress and when it is done please

1. i am only using the demo of FL Studio 8
2. when you do review my songs, make sure you try to do it as close to the date i upload the song as possible cuz once i finish it, its DONE. i cant save it.

it's a start

you pretty much got your melody, it is good, now just go and make a song wit it. make the saw you add on to the melody a different instrument that matches. turn up your kick alot to counter the treble. the clap could be turned up to. a good start.

hey bro

i've been checking out all your music and this one really struck home. I've been working on jazzy trance mixes, they are a really tight genre mash. this song is so unique! i really am loving the piano in the beginning. Chilled out electronic music is my forte right now so i am diggin this. this song is to fun to slow down with transitions in my opinion. i like the chilled out spontaniouseness (i just made a word). I think a would have busted this song into some crazy saw action at the end to climax the song but idk, it is great as is. i want to keep in contact wit you and maybe do a colab. so check out some of my stuff, it would be greatly appreciated. if there is one song i want you to check out it my the chilled out trance song called Blue Haven

Thanks for the review! I had a lot of fun making this song. I struggled, in the beginning, deciding whether I wanted this to be a traditional song, with real instruments, or say to hell with it, and do what I do best, and synth the hell out of it. It's definitely an interesting mesh of music, and I've opened this song to finish it a few times, and I think it's just kind of hard to work with... I'm sure some day it will just click, and I'll steer it in a great direction. Thank you for your support, and for listening to all my stuff!

other remix is better

your better off alone was much more hardcore, this was more of light and dancy. i liked the in your face bass stomp or sawing me in half synths. This song would of been even more tight if you would of made a killer bass saw and a ripping melody saw. strong work, i really like your remixes so far, keep it up. peace bro - BK

yeah, i wasn't very creative with this song, hence the amount of time i spent on this song, my usual 'good' submitions take me at LEAST 3 hours, and usually span out to 8 to 24 hours, depending on how much i work on it XD
i did one that took me 24 hours once, but the power went out during that time... i HATED it... ugh...
