great work man

i agree that this is more of minimal trance, but the ambient is great in this song. You really have great builds and fades. I think the part of this song that made it a ten in my book was the piano man, it just made the song very dramatic. great use of pads and waves. Bravo. my favorite section is right at 1:08, it soared right there is love it. 5/5 10/10. Peace brosif.

Thanx , i love all your reviews, every one of them.

you got it man

I think this is the most lyrics i have ever heard in any of your songs. I love the crazy bass. Message kinda iffy, but i won't bash it, cause it matches the song. dude, keep making hardcore music, you are a master at hard mixes. Peace Bro, Bracksta out.

dj-Nate responds:

Appreciate it. And don't think I personally believe the message this acapella sends out.. It just sounds great, haha.

i have the same problem

i gave you a four by the way it might help out with the jerk who put a 2. My laptop does the same thing. I have to export it as a Mp3 to here what i am making, otherwise it is all choppy, but hey it works. To fix that you have to do multiple things. Increase your sound card capabilities, which isn't that hard, but if not careful you could fry your computer. The other thing you have to fix the amount of temporary memory you computer can compute at one time. To do this you have to add a chip to increase the amount your computer can process at one time, or buy a newer faster computer that is a very high processor. And you can only buy the chip for huge modems, not laptops because usually there isn't room to fit a chip in them. So on summary. Buy new computer or buy chip for montem, and also adjust the amount of sound your sound chip can handle

great song making

you are so good, i just wish you had a different system to help with sound quallity, you are a awesome musicain, just limited by your system. I really enjoyed the song like all of the hero story, keep it up man.

metallikid6 responds:

Hehe thanks man. This was the first new song i wrote at the time actually. I wanted to do something different, so i went acoustic harmonic primarily, and then i experimented with a Verse/Chorus motif that blended together for an ultra Finale. So basically it's Verse/Chorus and then Both.

lol, nice

you took the part i liked the most and made a loop!!! wow, see man look at that score, rating. Good idea to make the loop!!!

jxl180 responds:

Thank you for your review. Yeah i know. plus, for some reason, the shorter the song the better the response, but this is ridiculous! I knew I had to turn it into a loop when in FL I heard how well it looped. I just got Vanguard, and to test it out I made different files. I saved three of them but didn't know how to continue them or if I should. The three files I made were the intro, main chorus, and a different melody but with the drum patterns I used here. I'm like, I know! I'll put them together! So I took the intro, the main melody, and the drum pattern from the three separate files and put them together and the added the effects and fills between them. I also added the Pan Flute after combining them.

lol, i loved it

you used that same synthesizer i used, lol. there were part of this i wish never would have ended. like after 00:40 it rocked my socks till 1:40

metallikid6 responds:

Hahaha, I knew you'd love it Bracksta. I'm not gonna lie to you. This song was actually inspired in part by your song Showdown. After listening to it, I thought about my current project for album 3.0 and thought what my own type of "Showdown" Fight Song would sound like. You've broadened my horizons Bracksta. Alls I can say is thank you for both the review and the inspiration.

improvements:

the song has alot of potential. The song does build and move, but i think that repitition hurt this song. So if you would bring in the new loops quicker i think the song would fly. Plus, try to do an instrument solo to boost energy. i thought the tracks fit perfect, but didn't come in fast enough to get the song rolling. So there are my tips. On a good note, you are quite good at pairing techno and metal together, i like that combo. keep it up man.

metallikid6 responds:

Ya know.. it's funny. At first there was one verse, one chorus and then a final verse leading into a quick outro, but I felt after a while that the song ends before it really gets started. So seriously, maybe a couple of months ago I decided to throw in that chorus again, and add those other synths to make it interesting and less "repetitive". Oh well. This song is one of my favorites, and I'm glad you think it kicks as well.

Awesome, but in the wrong genre

dude, this song is kick'n, but you should have put it in miscellanious. from 00:57 on rocked my socks man. I loved it. the intro is probably where most people gave up on the song and so they didn't hear the end. Which is a mean move, but that is NG. i applaud your work.

metallikid6 responds:

I've taken this into consideration. Glad you liked the song. I never thought for a second that this could be a misc. song, but after this review, that makes a lot of sense. I have since, changed the genre, and now hopefully anyone who listens to it will be happily surprised.

creative

I thought the mix of the two genres is hard to pull off. i think you were almost there. don't have the two genres playing at different times in the same song. Do more of the two genres playing at the same time, like from 00:38 to 1:08. That part was my favorite. The transitons were smooth and the music was enjoyable, especially after 1:08. So it is a good song, on the next song mixing the two genres actually have the two genres playing together. thanks for telling me about your new songs, i like to hear from ya. Peace bro.

jxl180 responds:

Thanks for getting back at me and reviewing. I tried having without that transition at 1:09 but it changed to quickly. Maybe I should try it with the light part from the intro continuing and the main chorus/trance part fade in?

thank you,
jxl180

Dark to light

all of the start to about 1:30 was good but seems like random chords, not very well peiced. Every thing after 1:30 was like a shining ray of hope peiceing the chaos. I really enjoyed after 1:30, i wish you would have started it there. the chords from that point on flowed naturally and build apon a positive mood. your finish was awesome. Just work on the beggining. I am not an expert on classical music, but that is my opinion. Overall a good listen, keep up the fine work bro!

jxl180 responds:

Thanks, man. I'll keep this in mind. I don't own a midi keyboard and its hard for me to hear any flow or to piece different chords together by clicking in the piano roll, so a few songs back I started using my computer keyboard as a midi keyboard. As i have a basis for which keys are generally higher, lower, etc. it's still hard for me. So i just keep pressing and trying new things until I get something decent that I can work upon and adjust the notes manually in the piano roll.

TY.
